Monaco French Riviera
The French Riviera is a beautiful place, there’s no denying that, and this heaven filled with cars is the perfect getaway for any motor enthusiast. Monaco is what’s known as a sovereign state, and has a wondrous mix of French and Italian that make it one of the most amazing places to visit in the world.
There’s wildlife museums and casinos to visit in the form of Musee Oceanographique de Monaco for the former and Casino de Monte Carlo for the latter – and it’s also home to one of the classic Grand Prix circuits.
If you’re hoping to catch some car action whilst visiting, it’s best to go around the end of May. You can even buy tickets to go and see the racing action yourself – so consider this if you’re a huge fan.
Another classic car scene is, of course, Daytona. Located in the southerly US state of Florida, Daytona has some of the best car attractions in the states.
But it’s not just all about the cars. With a tropical, humid climate and lovely warm weather, Florida is home to some stunning beaches and NASA have also put a base here on Cape Canaveral.

Utah (Bonneville Salt Flats)
The second US state on our list is Utah, and this is because this destination is home to the Bonneville Salt Flats.
But first, let’s take closer look at Utah itself.
If you venture out to this destination you’re sure to be stunned by the beautiful, natural scenery you’ll come across. Think red rock and canyons and you’ll start to shape a picture in your head with ease.
In fact, you can both hike and ski in this state making it perfect for the adventurous at heart.
When it comes to car racing in Utah, the Bonneville Salt Flats is legendary. In the north west of the state, this area is exactly what it sounds like – a flat space filled with flooring covered in salt. It used to be a lake before, but has now dried up and is one of the best places to witness the August Speed Week.

Modena – Italy
We shift to Italy for our next car scene, and Modena truly is iconic in this area. There’s an amazing Ferrari museum that is famous globally and it really is the homeland of cars.

Our final car scene on the list is on our very own UK turf. Silverstone in Northamptonshire is one of the most iconic places for those who love cars in the entire country.
The British Grand Prix often takes place here, making it a really important place for all racing car enthusiasts. You can go down yourself and see your favourite cars in action and really get a slice of how hot the car scene is around there in racing season.
Much like the rest of the destinations on this list, there’s also other activities and reasons to visit Silverstone. There’s a rally school for those who want to turn their own hand and get behind the wheel. There’s also other things to do around the Northamptonshire area including the chance to visit some adorable llamas, as well as beautiful gardens and the farm Bugtopia!
